News from the Chinese Super League

Another foreign player has joined a Chinese Super-League team. Ryu Seung Min, number 3 player of South Korea, is now playing for the Sichuan team. His debut was not successful, however. He played in the number-3 spot against the Nanjing team, and Ryu lost to Shan Mingjie 1-2. Ryu's teammates include Chen Junji, Chen Jian and Yeh Yohting (sp?). Sichuan lost that tie.

Japanese star An Konishi will also play for the Shanxi club in the Chinese Super League. Li Jiawei from Singapore played her first match for the Shandong Luneng women's team, and lost against Guandong Fudi's Wang Xiaohua 1-2. In the same tie, Chen Jing also lost to Luneng's Li Fun 1-2, although Chen's team won the tie 3-2.

Another ex-Chinese player Wang Yonggang, currently living in Japan, has also joined the Guandong Guoliang club. He and Taiwan's Chiang Peng Lung, have not played the first match yet.
