The Math Department offers a number of courses in a self-paced format. These courses are usually divided into one unit modules and students may complete one or more units during a semester.

The Arithmetic class - Math 251- requires registration during the regular college registration period and meets at a specific time for four hours per week. See the class schedule for specific days and times:

The other self-paced courses are open enrollment classes-students may enroll any time during the semester. They are offered through the Laney College Math Lab in G-201. Math Lab students are able to use the Math Lab facility (including the Math Computer Lab in G-203) whenever the Lab is open .
