3-Button Mouse Drivers for Windows NT and Windows 95 ---------------------------------------------------- THE 3-BUTTON WINDOWS NT INPORT MOUSE DRIVER: The driver files (INPORT3B.SYS & MOUCLASS.SYS) included in the file INPORT3B.ZIP are used to allow OEM 3 button mice which use a Microsoft Inport compatible controller (such as the mice supplied with some ATI graphics boards) to actually be able to use the middle button when used with Windows NT 3.51 or Windows NT 4.0. (The Microsoft supplied inport driver does not support the middle button.) INPORT3B is now FREE to registered Middle Mouse Button users !! ---------------------------------------------------- THE 3-BUTTON WINDOWS NT SERIAL MOUSE DRIVER: The driver files (PMOUSE1.SYS, PMOUSE2.SYS, PMOUSE.INF & MOUCLASS.SYS) included in the file NTMOUSE.ZIP are used to allow 3-Button Genius, Mouse Systems, or compatible Serial Mouse (such as our PRO Mouse 3000) to be used with Windows NT 3.x or Windows NT 4.0. To install, unzip the archive NTMOUSE.ZIP to a floppy or to a work directory. See the files readnt4.txt or readnt3x.txt (included in NTMOUSE.ZIP) for installation instructions for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT 3.x respectively. ---------------------------------------------------- THE 3-BUTTON WINDOWS 95 SERIAL MOUSE DRIVER: The driver files (PMOUSE.VXD & PMOUSE.INF) included in the file W95MOUSE.ZIP are used to allow a 3-Button Genius, Mouse Systems, or compatible Serial Mouse (such as our PRO Mouse 3000) to be used with Windows 95. To install, unzip the archive W95MOUSE.ZIP to a floppy or to a work directory. Next, open the Control Panel "Install new Hardware" applet (do not do a scan for new devices). Now select the new mouse icon and select "Have Disk". Then point to the file PMOUSE.INF and select COM1, COM2 or PS2 depending on the port your mouse uses. This is a TRUE Windows 95 driver, so no DOS Mouse driver is required as with the Mouse Systems Windows 3.x driver supplied by Microsoft with Windows 95. ---------------------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE: 1. Most Mouse Systems compatible 3-Button mice must have a switch or a jumper set to enable 3-Button Mode. Some require that a mouse button (usually the left button) be held down while the driver loads. The PRO Mouse 3000 which we sell uses a conveniently located switch to change modes. *** PLEASE SEE YOUR MOUSE USERS MANUAL FOR THE METHOD USED BY YOUR MOUSE. *** 2. These files are being supplied solely for use with the Digital Control Systems "Middle Mouse Button" application and / or by owners of the "PRO Mouse 3000". Any other use of the above mentioned drivers is prohibited. 3. We will NOT be able to provide technical support for the nearly infinite varieties of OEM mice which are available. Please contact the manufacturer and / or the distributor from which you obtained your mouse for technical questions about about ANY mouse other than the PRO Mouse 3000.
