Why would anyone want to learn meditation? How does it help us in our daily lives?

Many people have asked me this and I have put together some of the benefits that I have discovered for myself or have heard of from other people who have practiced on a regular basis.

There is no doubt in my mind that Meditation has a very clear purpose of improving our daily lives. How this occurs is very interesting and it belongs to all mankind to use and benefit from.
