Control CD players, camcorders, VCRs, LaserDiscs, MiniDiscs, DAT machines, and other infrared (IR) controlled gear with virtually any MIDI device using the InfraMIDI Equator (tm).

Simply record infrared (IR) commands from your existing remote controls. Then, play them back with NOTE commands from any MIDI keyboard, sequencer, or computer to control the desired equipment. This is multimedia integration.

With a capacity of 120 IR commands, the InfraMIDI Equator (tm) handles even the most sophisticated IR control setups with ease.

Here are some examples of what the InfraMIDI Equator (tm) can do.

• Add sound effects from your CD player to a MIDI sequence without having to record the CD onto tape.

• "Fly-in" submixed parts on DAT, Digital Compact Cassette, or MiniDisc.

• Build a custom control panel with your sequencer to provide computerized remote access to all of your equipment.

• Add the optional RECset (tm) software and build macros such as "GOTO 1:00:00.00" which fire a series of IR codes, effectively creating an automated VCR transport controller.
