still searching for the deli/sandwich place that matches the price and quality of a Humminbird Cafe sandwich in Berkeley northside of campus. They make a pastrami sandwich on a sweet roll with everything on it for $2.95. Where can you beat that price. And the food rocks too!
The closest I could find is the de la cruz deli near my work. The sandwich quality is almost exactly the same, but it costs $4.95. Doh.

one of the coolest things about half price books is getting, well, really cheap books. If you like authors that wrote novels in the 60's and before, you can get dirt cheap first editions. Like i bought heinlein's The Past Through Tomorrow, which is 830 pages, and have never seen ANYWHERE else, for 98 cents.

Everyday I drive to work and back. 15 miles in horrible crowded traffic. The question is, how do I not get bored and frustrated every single day?
To counter bordem - Drive fast. Why? Cuz driving slow is BORING. I always get so bored driving at 65 on the freeway. I almost want to nod off to sleep or start thinking about other things. Driving fast solves that problem. I'm alert, watching all the other cars around me, checking for sudden speed changes, seeing any potention dangers at driving at that speed. It really wakes me up in the morning.
To counter frustration - Make driving a contest. How effectively can you navigate the roads? Whats the best route to take to reach home the fastest? Is it better to pass the car in front of me on the right or the left? Which lane is the most effective one to travel? How little can I step on the brake and save gas during the trip?
These two things are what keeps my commute interesting. Of course, if theres ever a direct mass transportation route from my house in fremont to the San Jose International Airport, you know I'll be one of the first taking it.

Hmm... I must be getting used to fanservice. I constantly hear complaints about there being too much fanservice in certain anime shows. I usually end up thinking "That show has too much fanservice? What fanservice?"

Damn portable sony cd player i bought is now acting all funky and gay. This wouldn't piss me off that much except for the fact that I've had it for just over a year, and the warranty ran out like 5 days ago. DAMN SONY. This is why they're struggling right now, and posted a loss last quarter. I'm never buying another SONY brand piece of electronics again. Panasonic or Samsung or something else from now on.
