MALTEZE
MALTEZE
has a recognizable sound but led by Barbara Maltese, a strong
female with dynamic vocals. Features Japan's renowned rock guitarist
Masami Fujimaki (Sammy Fujimaki). Everyone does it, but MALTEZE
denies you to do it to them!! That "it" is to draw
comparisons. You'll never hear anyone referring to MALTEZE
in terms of clones, because there exists no band from which
they could be molded. MALTEZE,
offspring of the metal throne, is led by their fierce queen
Barbara Maltese, a captivating and dynamic performer whose powerhouse
vocal delivery blows most contemporaries right out of the water.
Her unique hard edge, gusty style and self-assured attitude
defy comparisons. So when most people try to compare her to
a female in metal or rock they find themselves only scratching
the surface of Barbara Matese's talent, which can only be compared
with the strongest and hardest of male metal vocalist. MALTEZE
rocks hard and they rock smart. Without fail every song consistently
delivers a winning hook and clear lyrical imagery. MALTEZE,
with their newly released album " Count Your Blessing"
has the knowledge that they will inherit the kingdom of metal.
VALHALLA
Sammy
Fujimaki and Kieth Flax started band called "Mean Business"
in the late 80's before Sammy joiined Malteze and Kieth replaced
for vocal part for Panter coz' Jeff Scott Soto (Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen)
quit the band. A few years later Sammy contacted Kieth to put
together as band again so Valhalla was basically configured
by members of Panther.
From beyond the realm of heaviness a new bleed of melodic hard
rock. A classic of East meets WestccVALHALLA.
Having apeeard on both coasts with such establish act as Burning
Star and Panther, Keith Flax brings a strong, unique and melodic
favor comparable to no other vocalist.
From the land of the rising sun comes guitar virtuoso Sammy
Fujimaki. Influenced by such as Ritchie Blackmore, Uli Jon Roth
and Michael Schenker, Masami combines blistering fret work with
a strong sense of melody that will soon have him rated among
the guitarist of guitar heroes. A former member of LA's Malteze,
not to mention meny of Japan's biggest act, calling him a seasoned
pro would be an understatement.
Rounding out the band is the sonic boom of bassist Max Kobayakawa
and the thunderous best of drummer Frankie Anthony. Together,
these two provide one of the most explosive rhythm section ever
unleashed. With a live show that must be seen to be believed,
VALHALLA
is primed are ready make the leap from club to arena act.
